Settings for new EBS_APPS

There is a new profile created after the upgrade of EBS from 12.1 to 12.2 called EBS_APPS. Our auditors think we need to change the default settings (such as password verify function, pwd lifetime etc) for this internal user to be the same as we use for the default profile. Should we change those settings? What guidance does oracle have?
