Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Enterprise Manager Generic (MOSC)

rollback or remove any 12c DB client related patches before proceeding with the upgrade of DB client

I am running Enterprise Manager 13.5.0.24 - on RHLinux 7 with a 19CR25 repository

I just patched the OMS with RU24 and I am continuing towards the Holistic Patch 37305292 to OMS Home

But before I get there, I need to upgrade the DB Client from 12C to 19C. My issue is the README file does not explain:

how to find the 12C db client
how to roll it back.

It just states:

`Steps to Upgrade DB Client to 19c`

Before upgrading DB Client to 19c: Ensure to take file system backup which includes Middleware Home, gc_inst , swlib and inventory information.
Shut down the OMS (using emctl stop oms -all). In case of a multi-OMS environment, shut down all the OMSes.
