Pre-upgrade Proactive SR

I was asked to open a proactive SR in preparation for a major upgrade of my Oracle Database Appliance. I don't see a way to do this before I have a problem. I have a model x7 HA 2 - Bare Metal appliance and I'll be upgrading using DPR.
