Master pay cycles - can the same week be included in 2 different Master Pay Cycles?

We are working on creating the Master Pay Cycles for 2025. Our payroll is weekly, but we run same cycle 2-3 times each week to account for the late timesheets. Example: first we deposit on Thursday, then we run another pay for the same cycle with the deposit date of Friday.

Now, I am looking at the last week of 2025, Thursday falls on Jan 1st, so we would advance the deposit to Dec 31, which will create 53 weekly cycles in 2025 and that is okay in itself. But I also know that we will typically do another run on Jan 2 for the same week ending 12/28/2025. Is that okay, if my last period of 2025 Master Pay Cycle is 12/28/2025 and my first week of 2026 Master Pay Cycle is also 12/28/2025?? Will this mess up taxes or EI History?
