Backorder release P42117 releases double the quantity from backorder

Hello,

We have a strange issue. some times, when the user releases the Back orders using P42117, the released quantity gets doubled. When I checked the ledger, there are two lines from the program ID P42117 inserted in a time difference of 1 seconds but with the quantity doubled.

The problem is that , we are unable to replicate the issue. This happens in production but not always and some times.

I see there was a post with ref to same issue but no solution.

Any one in the same boat or experienced the same issue.
