Open-Sourcing Agile EDM (e6) 6.2.1 ?

Agile EDM (e6) 6.2.1 "eSeries" "old faithful" "old reliable" …
The Roadmap looks a little like a dead-end, at least from a development point of view:
Premier Support to August 2025
On Sustaining support post August 2025.
And then?

For the most part e6 is well known and still actively used in Europe, particularly Germany.
Would Open Source Agile EDM (e6) 6.2.1+ be an option?
What would it take? Could it be an Open Source Project at Oracle? or available for someone else to take on?

Hope springs eternal!
