Dependent Rule is being ignored when Student Flag is Checked on the Dependent Record
Peoplesoft Human Capital Management 9.2 Benefits Administration
We are using a dependent rule to control eligibility for our Dependent Life plan and it appears that if the dependent is flagged as a student the rule is being ignored. I would expect this for Health plans but not for Life Insurance, is the system working as designed here or is there a setting where plan type can be designated for when the student flag should override a dependent rule?
