GOP Impacts to SSD Override

During a recent SR we had for some issues in GOP, we heard from the Oracle engineer that using the override schedule function would adversely impact GOP, but didn’t get details as to what that impact might be. Can anyone shed some light on this?

We use 2 ATP rules; one with infinite availability that serves as our default assigned at the org level, and one that has finite availability assigned to at the item-org level using the following setups:

  • Promising Mode = Supply Chain Availability Search
    • Search components and resources checked.
  • Supply Types checked
    • On hand
  • Demand Types checked
    • Fulfillment lines
