Approaches for installing Oracle OSM 7.5 on the imported database instance

Currently we are having Oracle OSM 7.4 in Solaris 11.4. But we have to shift to Oracle OSM 7.5 in RHEL 9.

We were planning to

  1. First EXPORT/IMPORT existing Oracle OSM 7.4 database instance (Oracle 19c)
  2. Then post OS upgrade , we would install Oracle OSM 7.5 pointing to the imported database instance.

Can you please suggest if this the right approach or there is any other suitable better approach such that we can keep running our upcoming OSM 7.5 instance with the existing data in OSM database.
