SO Future Commit release

We are running JDE 9.2.7.2

I am just wondering what program takes a SO from future commit to either back order or quantity shippable? We have a 35 day window set in the BP Constants and I was under the impression that the repost program looks at the request date and when inside the window set at the BP Constants it would move it to BO or Shippable qty.? I am seeing some inconsistencies in this so I would like make sure I understand this process? Also, any documentation would help.
