How could an HCM user schedule the App Engine process EP_CANCL_DOC? Any info on EP_CANCL_DOC?

We recently had an issue where PM Documents were canceled by "The System". From looking at the Process Monitor we were able to determine the process that canceled these documents was Application Engine EP_CANCL_DOC. We noticed two users were able to schedule this process to run, but after reaching out to the users, they could not tell us how they were able to do this and don't remember scheduling a process or doing anything with PM Documents. Logged in as these two users in our test environment that is refreshed weekly, we could not find the Run Control IDs used
