WMS Putaway and Picking process

We are using JDE 9.2.7.2

I am wondering if it is possible to be able to use picking and putaway partially? For ex; we would like to only use putaways for a ceratin product or just one of our production lines. We would also, just like to use the picking functionality to only pick for Work Orders on one line. Then the rest of our WH and lines we continue to not use putaway suggestions. If yes, would you happen to have documentation to support this?
