Cleanup old Editions

Note 2103131.1 (ADOP basic usage training videos) says that ADOP Cleanup phase, cleans up the old editions.

Using a recent version of R12.2, I never noticed this. Moreover, if they are not cleaned up by a specific ADOP command (which is thus not the normal cleanup phase), they just stack up.

So my question is: should the edition ALWAYS be AUTO-cleaned ? Or not ?

That means that whatever you do, after a normal ADOP cycle, the Editions are cleaned.

The document seems to state that, but I think it means : you CAN cleanup Editions, if you use an ADOP Cleanup ( .. with extra parameters). But it doesn't state the special parameters.
