Date calculations in Sales Orders

Hello Team

We are on JD Edwards 9.20 version and we have an issue with the date calculations on the sales orders. We have transportation enabled. We have a third party system which calculates the promised delivery dates (F4211.RSDJ) along with promised ship (F4211.PPDJ) and scheduled pick dates (F4211.PDDJ). We are then using orchestrator to update this date within JDE. What we have noticed is some orders we are not able to update the dates. For example n attached screenshots for a shipment if I update the promised delivery date, blank out the ship date and the route the shipment -
