What will be impact of changing the next numbering format for a purchase order type midway.

For e.g this year numbering has started with the pre-existing logic.

Now if user wants to update the next numbering logic for that particular order type, will it have any negative impact on Purchase order processing or any integrity.

This is for JD Edwards 9.2.8.2
