What are the precautions of moving from "Absolute" to "Advisory" or Changing Funds Check Level?

We are looking to shift from Absolute Budgeting to Advisory Budgeting. I want to know what are the precautions, pros, cons and steps to shift. If there is particular activity required before and after?
