Change Termination Date for COBRA Benefits

Hello,

Employee health benefits end on a pay period end date yet COBRA participants health benefits end at the end of the month.

When an terminated employee elect COBRA, Ben Admin rules properly ends the employee's health coverage but COBRA automated processing puts the end date 18 months after pay period end date. Is there a way to change the COBRA termination date to the end of the month?

If you try to insert a new termination row on the COBRA Heath Plan Enrollment, this error occurs "Termination rows cannot be entered manually for Health Coverage under COBRA".

If you use the Terminate COBRA Participants page to update the termination date, you will get this error "Plan Termination Date cannot be after Coverage End Date".
