Dynamic vs Prespecified locators

Hi, we are at ebs version 12.2.10. We are having Prespecified Only in locator control. What are the benefits to have Prespecified Only or Dynamic At Subinventory level?

Currently we are having fixed locators for loose area items and min-max planning (replenishment) from LPN area to there. How would this work with Dynamic locators?
