List of roles having access to menu item

Is there any standard application to show the roles having access to a specified menu item( task view or task)?
It is helpful when we add a menu item to a task view to know who will get access to it.
Also, we may need to enable the menu item for one role. Once I know the list of roles having access, should I go to each roles and then use Solution Explorer -> Menu Filter to disable one by one ? Is there any other quick way ?
