Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Creation of Standby LOGFILE - ZDM

I am executing the database migration using Zero Down Time (ZDM).

I see that one particular step "ZDM_DISCOVER_SRC" is creating STANDBY LOGFILES @ Source. I have few questions

I see that its creating STANDBY LOGFILES even though primary has 4 STANDBY LOGFILES already.
This behavior is different case to case. For some database it creates 140GB standby logfiles and for some others it creates 80GB. On what basis, it creates this STANDBY logfile? Is there a calculation behind this?
