Exporting HFM Data Audit to excel hangs

HFM 12.2.12

export Data audit performance.

Can someone let me know how we can deal with HFM Data export to Excel performance? The system blocks even for a day, and we do not know what is going on.

There used to exist an auditexport utility, which seems to have been deprecated. Any solution / recommendations on how to resolve this problem?
