Payment netting activity line generated a invalid line due to profile option change

Payment netting activity line generated a invalid line due to profile option change, and create accounting resulted in unposted entries. So, even after changing the Profile option, making the data fix to delete the applications of that receipt, create accounting didn't result in change of the payment netting line. Please advise
