Items not ordered in 25 years

Hey hive mind,

Running 12.2.8. I have a general question about best practice for procurement. We are configure-to-order and we have some products that have very unique components in their bill of material that may not be ordered very often. Let's say 20 years ago, we set up an item with a sourcing rule for a specific supplier/site and we haven't ordered it since then. Now, today, we need to order this item. How do you flag that item to be reviewed by the procurement team to make sure the supplier can still make that item? Do you use any customization or reports
