Using Inventory Location Holds in Distribution Applications

Users have always been able to put a specific Inventory Item Location record (F41021) or Lot Master record (F4108) on hold with a Lot Status Code (LOTS) so that items from the location or lot would not be available for sales orders or work orders. Because of the large number of possible Item Location (F41021) and Lot Master (F4108) records it can be challenging to manage material on hold at that level. Recently JD Edwards customers have asked for the ability to put a Location Master record (P4100) on hold using a Location Status Code (LHLC) so that any items
