Clarification Request on Mapping Between P6 and Oracle Primavera Cloud

Hello,

I have a question regarding the mapping configuration step when importing a P6 project into Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).

When reviewing the "Import Action" and "Conflict Action" options (see attached screenshot), I understand the logic behind "Import Action." However, I am unsure about the meaning of "Conflict Action."

  • Why do all configured fields (Activity, Assignment, Project, WBS, Risk Configured Fields) show "Not Applicable" under the "Conflict Action" column?
  • On the other hand, for elements such as calendars, resources, and roles, the "Conflict Action" is set to "Do Not Import."
  • When "Conflict Action" is set to "Do Not Import" (e.g., for calendars), does this mean the element will be completely ignored and not imported into OPC, or will it still be imported if no corresponding record exists?
