Dear Experts,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am working on a business requirement related to the Siebel eConfigurator and would appreciate your guidance. Here are the details:

Requirement:
When configuring new orders using the Siebel eConfigurator, we need to validate the eligibility of selected product components against an external system. Based on the API response, the system should either allow the user to proceed with selling the eligible components or prevent them from selecting ineligible ones.

Questions:

Is it possible to achieve this functionality using a configurator script or any other method?
