How to fix RCVOLTM Receiving Errors

Hi all,

Users are unable to receive in Receiving forms,  they are getting the error :

rvtptcontrol failed

RVTCL-040: Subroutine po.plsql.PO_DOCUMENT_ACTION_PVT.do_action:140:WMS returned error

Cause: Subroutine po.plsql.PO_DOCUMENT_ACTION_PVT.do_action:140:WMS returned an internal error

According to Doc ID 2861802.1, we bounce the receiving manager RCVOLTM and the problem is solved.

However, we still want to figure it out what is the root cause trigger this issue.

Please help us and provide your professional advise to fix it .
