Refresh behavior

We are performing PDB cloning to create a duplicate of the PDB.
After completing the PDB cloning, we have configured it to execute a refresh every hour.
When using the duplicated PDB, we stop the refresh process. However, if a refresh is in progress at the time of stopping, will the refresh complete first before stopping, or will there be a different behavior?
