Inventory transfer between 2 locations with cost difference

We have a situation and I want to confirm that it's a limitation on JDE functionality - it appeared that when there's a difference in cost, JDE will get the cost of the from-branch-plant to book the journal entries. Is that correct?

Item: ABC

under BP-1: cost is $10

under BP-2: cost is zero

transfer from BP-1 to BP-2

Dr. Inv-BP-2 $10

Cr. Inv-BP-1 -$10

when transfer from BP-2 to BP-1

Dr. Inv-BP-1 $0

Cr. Inv-BP-2 $0
