Custom report going into error - Issue fixed After UBE runtime Specs Cleared

Custom report went into error in JDE sometime but after clearing the runtime cache for that UBE from the server, the issue got fixed.. We just wanted to know why cache cleared required to fixed the issue as we are building and deplyoing full packages after every 2 weeks in months. Can you please provide some inputs on the same
