MySQL Oracle [ERROR] [MY-013935] [Server] IO-layer timeout before wait_timeout w

MySQL Oracle Commercial release 8.4.4

RHEL 8

After upgrading MySQL Oracle Commercial LTS release 8.0.41 to 8.4.4, I'm now seeing in the MySQL server log the following message:

[ERROR] [MY-013935] [Server] IO-layer timeout before wait_timeout was reached.

Has anyone seen this error message before? I have searched in MySQL bugs report but haven't found anything.

Can somebody help me on this?
