0.01 difference issue

We have an issue with account clearing due to the below issue. The problem is that we have pricing applied to an order where the factor numeric value is multiplied by the quantity. This amount is posted into a specific account, while another definition offsets this value.

However, there is an issue when the factor value, for example, 995.2824, is multiplied by the quantity 750, which should result in 746,461.80. Instead, the system reduces the value by 0.01, giving 746,461.79.

This issue does not occur when the value has exactly two decimal places. Can anyone help determine why the system reduces the actual amount by
