Adding a service line to a KIT

We are on Oracle EBS 12.2.9. See attached doc with steps.

General scenario in OM is that, we enter a shippable item. Then in next line, enter warranty line item (Service offering) and then in the Services tab, we fill the service attributes to link it to the main shippable line.

Our business has created KIT item and then entered both these items under the parent KIT item. They are doing it because they always want to club them together, so that order entry guys don’t forget to enter warranty, upsell oppty etc.

So, in the KIT, we have a shippable item and a warranty item.
