Functionality on Fair Value(FV) Begin date and end date

I believe FV amt is only information no impact on Amortization schedule - Is this correct?

Note: Qs related to creating amortization schedule that impact B/S lessee accounting.

If one doesn't want to use recurring billing or manual billing, and require to create amortization schedule - I do not see any column to enter the Total value of the lease, for the system to auto create the schedule by using the total lease value (loan amount) and do the calculation based on Lease term and classification of lease and the interest rate .

I believe you still have to enter a one time recurring billing with start date and end date, in order to have the amortization schedule created for the EQP asset. Could you provide more information on how the recurring billing impact the amortization schedule. thanks
