P4210 Dates

We run JDE 9.2.7.2

When we populate a SO in P4210 we enter the request date and the sched pick date and promised delivery date auto populate and calculate according to how we have pref 09 deliver date setup.

My question is, if I need to go back in the order and change the delivery date, shouldn't that update the pick date automatically? Is there a setup so that can happen? We do not use the ATP functionality either. Do we need to clear the pick date before changing the delivery date?
