Change the Functional(base) currency of existing company in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne platform

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release: 9.1.4

How should a company transition to a new base currency in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (9.1) when the state government decided to adopt a new official domestic currency(EUR)?

If anyone has any hands on experience, best practices, materials please share, it would be much appreciated?

Would like to hear opinions from experts of the considered options below:

  1. Use the JDE Base Currency Conversion process to convert the domestic currency of the affected companies to the appropriate currencies
  2. Create a new company with the correct setup and appropriate domestic currency
