Can two different JDE setup access one single database for a certain path code

HI,

We have a EnterpriseOne setup on Apps-9.2 and Tools 9.2.5.x on iSeries box which is our DB server too. Now we want to create another new setup with a new Deployment server, new Enterprise server, new HTML/AIS server on Windows/Linux OS severs with only Dev path code on apps-9.2 and tools 9.2.9.x. (a temporary 3-week setup)

Question 1- Can we add the same iSeries box as the DB server to the new setup and access the TESTDTA from there from the new environment. If yes how and is there any document available for it.

Question 2- If we create a new database in Oracle for the new setup how we can quickly copy the data needed from iSeries to Oracle.
