How to clear the encumbrance showing on commitment control page in peoplesoft ?

I’m working with Peoplesoft Financials/SCM 9.20 (PT 8.60) and noticed that an encumbrance is still showing up on the Commitment Control → Review Budget Activities → Review Budget Detail page for a project.

When I drill into the Activity Log and select the “Display Open Encumbrance Only” checkbox, no records appear. However, I identified the PO that was holding the exact amount reflected as an encumbrance on the Commitment Control page.

It seems that this PO was previously closed, and the corresponding requisition was canceled. To resolve this, I reopened the PO and then canceled it again, which set the PO amount to zero
