Asset Depreciation Status

We have an asset Category and corresponding Profile ID that were originally setup with a Depreciable Status of ‘Depreciable’. 3 assets have been entered with this Profile ID and Category which have been depreciating since about 2018. Recently it was discovered this Category and Profile ID should not be depreciating. We have successfully updated the Category and Profile ID to be in a Non-Depreciable status, however we have been unable to stop the assets from depreciating. Even after updating the Category and Profile ID to be Non-Depreciable the Depreciation Status of the assets is still listed as Depreciable, and the
