when copying a sales order document, why isn't the price updating based on the current price list?

I created a quote with a single line item priced at 20 USD, which was added to the price list. Six months later, I received an order from the customer. Before processing the order, I attempted to copy it, and at that time, the item's price in the price list had increased to 50 USD. However, when I tried to book the order, the system did not flag or stop me due to the price variance. Could you provide a solution for this issue?
