ECC Purchasing-Drill down to PO in BWC-Open in query mode

In our current non prod version of ECC (V13), ECC allows drilldown that opens PO with Buyer Work Center.
If the person is a buyer, he will be able to make changes to the PO. Is it possible that buyers that drill down to BWC from ECC opens only the PO in query mode?
