Hi,

I am required to migrate solaris 8 and 9 OS on solaris 10.The target servers are sun4u and sun4v.

Flar is only to backup and restore on the same architecture?I mean i can not use flar from sun4u on sun4v?

Can i install solaris 8 and 9 in ldom?

sun4u to sun4v:Can i create ldom with solaris 10 and inside solaris branded zone 8 or 9 and on source(sun4u) i create flar then on target (inside ldom are branded zone) i use this flar to install solaris branded zone?

Please answer to every question.
