When ship confirming orders via P4205 Order status not updating at times

We are running JDE 9.2.7.2

On rare occasions when we are using P4205 to ship confirm an order, the SO status does not move like it should from next 560 to 578 in our case. The shipment status seems to always move correctly from status 25, 27, or 29 to 30. I'm curious to see if you have ever heard of SO statuses not moving or following the correct path? We cannot replicate so we are not sure if it's something we may be doing or if this might be a bug that Oracle has heard about with other companies? I
