opatch fails

in Database Install/Upgrade/Opatch (MOSC) 4 commentsAnswered

I'm tryging to install Oracle DB Enterpise Edition 19.25 ou 19.26 on RH 9.3

I unzipped the 19.3 binary CRS_19_03_V982068-01.zip

I dropped the OPatch subdirectory

I unzipped the alst version of Opacth p6880880_190000_Linux-x86-64.zip

Now I'm trying to validate the opatch version and receiving

[grid@orali-s01 OPatch]$ ./opatch version
./opatch: line 839: [: syntax error: -lt' unexpected
./opatch: line 839: [: syntax error: -lt' unexpected
Java (1.7) could not be located. OPatch cannot proceed!
OPatch returns with error code = 1
