EOImpl.java attribute Method Accessor Change from public to protected in Jdev 12.2.1.3.0

Hi Community Members,

I am using Jdev 12.2.1.3.0 where I tried to mark a new attribute as a primary key I see that this change also changing attribute accessors from public to protected could anyone help me why we see this behaviour and how could I fix this, As this causing us issues when we try to commit a row using VO
