UPC lookup

I am embarrassed to ask but what is the best way for customer service to lookup a UPC in JD Edwards Enterprise One? I can't figure it out. UPC was a standard lookup field in every other ERP that I have worked on. Item Master doesn't allow lookup by UPC. I have googled, I have searched Oracle support forums, etc. We have customers that order using the UPC and it creates extra work for customer service that a UPC lookup would eliminate.

When I try using the EnterpriseOne Search with a UPC I receive the below error. I verified that the UPC is set up in JDE prior to trying the search.
