How to Prevent PR lines to have same description

My Client Created Purchase request that have lines with the same description and when proceeding to “Auto-Create” and making a PO, the system automatically merges the lines together.

So they are asking if there is anyway that PR shouldn’t accept the same description mentioned in two lines, which would also solve human error from repeating the same description twice.
