How to correctly rotate pool encryption key?

Good day Experts.

I have following question. I need to change encryption key used for pool encryption on my ZFS Storage Appliance.

Question is how to do this? Is it simply generating new key and replacing it for specific pool?

Is there some shredding mechanism of old key possible to be used?

In general: what is the process of encryption key rotation?
