Planned Labor Unit Allocation without adding resources?

Is there a way to view the Planned Unit allocation without creating resources in OPC? In P6, we have typically just added labor hours to our activities, and used activity codes to sort through the data, without using resources. I am only able to view a project wide usage. I cannot find a way to extract the info through reports, dashboard, or in the schedule without either creating resources, or exporting an XER, and reimporting into my desktop P6.
