Retroactive pay - mid pay period job compensation rate changes are incorrect

Hello,

We are using Peoplesoft for NA 9.2, image 48, Peopletools version 8.60. We are trying to use the retroactive pay functionality for the first time and have followed these steps in a test environment:

To start I've focused on compensation rate changes in job. For the most part in my testing things look ok, with the exception of mid pay period comp rate changes. I haven't been able to determine where the calculated amounts are coming from, and they're far higher than expected.
